Darien police are investigating a fatal accident at a construction site.
Officers say a contractor died from an apparent fall on Nearwater Lane yesterday at a home that's under construction.
They say crews found the man unconscious with a head injury, but say no one saw the man fall.
Officers say it appears he fell from a scaffold directly above where he was found.
The man later died at Stamford Hospital.
