Police are on the hunt for at least three men behind two separate robberies on the 1 train line on Sunday.
According to police, two men approached an 18-year-old woman on a northbound train. One of the suspects showed the woman a knife and demanded her BlackBerry and took off with it.
The woman was not injured.
The men are described as light-skinned black men in their teens and about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build.
A few hours later, police say another man with a knife tried to rob a 47-year-old woman.
He demanded the woman's phone as well, but she refused to hand it over.
The woman suffered minor cuts and the suspect fled the scene.
The man is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds.
Police say the two robberies are not connected, and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
