Police say that students from Stamford High School were threatened by five masked men during a scavenger hunt.
According to the students, the men approached them with baseball bats and demanded money from them. After the students told them that they did not have any money, the men broke windows and tail lights on the students' cars, police say.
"This seems to be a nice activity around graduation and it is really a shame that it turned out this way," Stamford Police Lt. Sean Cooney says.
Police say there were no injuries, and they are currently looking into the case for any leads on the suspects involved in the incident.
