A city councilman from the Bronx is speaking out after he says money that would have went toward making a neighborhood located near an NYPD firing range quieter was removed from the city's budget.
Councilman Jimmy Vacca says $150 million has been left out of Mayor Bill de Blasio's new budget that would have went toward taking steps to cut down the noise at the NYPD firing range at Rodman's Neck near Pelham Bay Park.
Vacca says he is arguing in favor of getting the plan back in the mayor's budget, but time is running out because the budget goes into effect July 1.
