The cost of college tuition in Connecticut appears to be heading higher again thanks to looming state budget cuts.
The leader of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system says he's recommending a tuition increase at all 17 campuses.
The proposal calls for a 5 percent increase at universities, a 3.5 percent increase at community colleges, and a 4 percent increase at Charter Oak College.
UConn previously approved a separate tuition increase of 31 percent over four years.
