After dealing with flooding and wind damage, people in southwestern Connecticut are now worrying about finding gasoline.
The Gasoline and Auto Service Dealers Association suggests the problem is limited to certain stations. They say there is no systemic shortage.
Industry experts say the stations that say they are out of gas may have depended on Long Island Sound delivery terminals that were shut down during the hurricane.
News 12 Connecticut spoke with FEMA, whose officials say they are not aware of any gasoline shortage in Connecticut and that they have not gotten any requests for emergency supplies.
