Stop & Shop's parent company has announced a cybersecurity issue affecting its U.S. network, but customer impact remains unclear.

The company detected the issue, launched an investigation, and notified law enforcement. According to their statement, "The security of our customers and workers is our top priority."

All 83 Stop & Shop locations in Connecticut remain open, accepting online payments, although some pharmacies and e-commerce operations have been affected.
