Christ Community Church in Darien kicked off its summer outdoor worship service Sunday night with a Fourth of July celebration.
The service featured sparklers and fireworks.
All of the church's Sunday worships will be held outside.
People can bring beach chairs, blankets and drinks.
Pastor Landon Reesor said the outdoor service was a nice change of pace and brought people together.
The church plans to hold to an ice cream truck night and a water party night with water balloons.
