The Blue Wave held its annual Lift for a Cure event on Thursday to help fight Type 1 diabetes.
Head coach Andy Grant says his program has raised more than $12,000 this year.
“We have lots of time together in the fall," Grant said. "Things are kind of spread out with different sports during the winter, but it’s great to have a big group of them back together, and to raise money and to be around this cause has been a great value for our program."
