The community came together today in Darien to celebrate America's birthday.
YWCA Darien and Norwalk held the 10th annual Push-N-Pull Parade, with a family friendly celebration after at Tilley Pond Park.
Organizers say there was a big turnout today despite the weather conditions.
News 12 Connecticut spoke with attendees who say they come every year in their red, white, and blue to celebrate the Fourth of July with their families.
The family fun included live music, food, flags and festivities for everyone to enjoy. Families enjoyed activities like tug-of-war, a bean bag toss, and patriotic crafts where adults and children decorated wagons and bicycles.
