The owner of a Darien Spa has pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns.
Officials say Nusrat Rizvi, 75, of Norwalk, made the guilty plea yesterday in New Haven.
Court documents say between 2008 and 2010, Rivizi failed to report more than $140,000 of income from the Lanphier Day Spa.
Rizvi has agreed to pay more than $88,000 worth of back taxes and penalties.
