Connecticut College has brought in cybersecurity experts to investigate a data security incident that may have compromised their computer system.

College officials say unauthorized activity was first detected last March. Law enforcement was notified, and an investigation was launched to determine what personal information was involved in the breach.

The college is now in the process of notifying people whose information was involved. They are also offering complimentary credit monitoring services.
