The man accused of opening fire outside a Stamford club was arraigned Monday.
The shooting happened outside of Tino's on West Park Place early Sunday morning. Police say Dayron Wills, 22, fired 10 rounds at a crowd of about 20 people, hitting five of them. None of the victims were seriously hurt.
A witness recorded the shooting on their cellphone and gave the video to police.
Investigators believe the shooting happened after a fight broke out. Wills' attorney says his client was acting in self-defense when he opened fire.
Police say they are looking to make additional arrests in connection with the fight. They are also looking at additional video from nearby security cameras.
Stamford Mayor David Martin tells News 12 Connecticut that Tino's has voluntarily surrendered its liquor license and will be closing.
