A Redding woman is demanding answers about how a deer carcass made it off her property against her wishes.

Lynn Gorfinkle says she told the hunter who presumably killed the deer not to remove the dead animal from her yard. She last saw the deer on her property Friday. By Monday morning, she says only hair remained as the carcass seemingly disappeared.

Gorfinkle, an anti-hunting advocate, is considering filing a police report. Police believe the carcass was likely dragged into the woods and eaten by animals. Trespassing charges are possible, however, if authorities find evidence a person entered the yard to retrieve it.
