There is still no decision on whether two suspended principals at Stamford High School can return to work.
The board of education has delayed a vote on the issue.
A judge granted principal Donna Valentine and assistant principal Roth Nordin accelerated rehabilitation last month.
They were charged with failing to report a suspected sexual relationship between a teacher and a student.
A lawyer spoke to the board at last night's meeting.
He says only the superintendent can decide whether Valentine and Nordin can keep their jobs.
The superintendent says she is calling for an independent, fact-finding review before making a decision.
