A disabled man remains in critical condition after being shot at a Bridgeport housing complex, and police are asking for the public's help in finding two men in the case.
According to police, the men approached Jato Jefferies, a young man who uses a wheelchair, at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday inside building 4 at the Greene Homes housing project and shot him in the chest.
Police haven't said what the motive was or released additional details.
Jefferies was rushed to St. Vincent's Medical Center in critical condition. Neighbors describe him as a nice man.
