DJ Hernandez has been hit with new charges stemming from an alleged school shooting plot.

Hernandez is now facing a federal charge of interstate threatening and stalking. He was arrested earlier this week for allegedly planning and threatening school shootings at the University of Connecticut and Brown University.

Authorities say the threats were alarming in nature and posted on Facebook.

Hernandez, who is from Bristol, is the older brother of the late NFL star Aaron Hernandez, who took his own life while serving time for murder.
