The Department of Motor Vehicles says it has almost caught up with a backlog that affected the registrations of about 30,000 vehicles.
Back in October, the state Department of Motor Vehicles reported a massive backlog impacting customers using its new online system.
The DMV says it's still behind on an issue involving the titles to 125,000 cars throughout the state.
The DMV is reassigning 23 extra employees to work on the issue and expect to finish the backlog of insurance changes by this weekend.
