A Dobbs Ferry police officer has been hospitalized after being stabbed in the head while on duty Thursday afternoon.
It happened in the area of 200 Beacon Hill Drive.
The incident is being called an unprovoked attack and happened during a dispute while he was guarding some Con Edison trucks.
A suspect is in custody.
The officer has been released from the hospital following the alleged assault.
