Police have unsealed the documents related to a murder-suicide in Bethel last month.
They show the shooter was the homeowner's brother-in-law, Thai Pham, who had been living in the home but was being evicted.
Court documents reveal when officers arrived, they found the homeowner's wife, Ahn Cristofalo, bleeding from her head in the kitchen. Her husband Charles Cristofalo Jr. was dead in their bedroom.
Officers say Pham was in his room and had shot himself in the head. Police say he had a .22 caliber pistol in his hand.
The court records also show that the only survivor, Ahn Cristofalo, suffered a serious spinal cord injury from the shooting and will need long-term care.
