Dogs from Puerto Rico flown into Morristown Airport to receive treatment, find new homes

The nonprofit says many of the dogs lived in poor conditions amid a massive welfare crisis in Puerto Rico.

Over 30 dogs from Puerto Rico were flown into Morristown Airport this weekend through the Sato Project. All dogs were treated with heartworm before they were flown in to the mainland.
The nonprofit says many of the dogs lived in poor conditions amid a massive welfare crisis in Puerto Rico. 
Wings of Rescue was involved with getting the dogs to New Jersey.
Many of the dogs already have gone into new homes.
