DraftKings to purchase Golden Nugget Online Gaming for $1.5 billion
- A federal judge has ruled that Norwegian Cruise Line can require Florida travelers to show proof of coronavirus vaccinations. The preliminary ruling allows the cruise company to require vaccine documents from customers while the case heads to trial. Norwegian Cruise Line is challenging a Florida law that bars companies from asking customers to document their vaccination status.
- DraftKings is expanding its presence in online betting with the purchase of Golden Nugget Online Gaming. The pending deal is worth more than $1.5 billion. It will allow the fantasy sports giant to leverage Gold Nugget's "I-Gaming" product experience, which has an existing combined database of more than 5 million customers.
