Early voting begins in Connecticut on Monday: What you need to know

Most polling places will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are also four additional hours of voting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Thursday, Oct. 30, when polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Early Voting

Early voting starts Monday at 10 a.m., two weeks ahead of Election Day. It runs until Nov. 2, two days before Election Day.

Most polling places will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are also four additional hours of voting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Thursday, Oct. 30, when polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Your early voting location may differ from your regular polling place. Double-check with your town or city.

If you're not registered to vote, you can register on site. Anyone can vote early.

This is the second year early voting is available in Connecticut. More than 740,000 people voted early last year.

Key Races This Year

There are mayoral races in Stamford, Norwalk, Stratford, and Milford.
