An Easton illustrator who has had his work in periodicals for almost 60 years has now had his art published in a children's book.
Randall Enos has had his artwork published over the years in periodicals such as Sports Illustrated, Forbes and the New York Times. His block prints can now also be seen in a new children's book called "Mocha Dick: The Legend and Fury," which was released last month.
Enos says he considers this book, the story about the whale that inspired "Moby Dick," his masterpiece. The publishing company's designer saw a picture he had done of a whale and asked him if he would like to illustrate a book the publisher had about a whale.
Enos is now working on another children's book that he will write and illustrate. He will also be at the Barnes and Noble on Post Road East in Westport Thursday for a talk and book signing.
