Many residents in Easton and Redding are still without power after Tuesday's storm. Since a majority of them rely on well water, that means they also do not have water.
For these residents, no well water means no running water, no showers, no flushing toilets and they have to clear out their fridges.
Palmieri Farms manager Jill Kellerman had more than just her family to worry about when a tropical storm tore through the area.
"We have a lot of animals on the property," said Kellerman. "We made sure that they were safe and secure."
According to UI, 70% of Easton still has no power. According to Eversource, Redding has more than 90% of customers in the dark.
Using well water and losing power means the pumps don't work, so most of Kellerman's neighbors don't have running water.
A generator got the farm back up and running and helping out the neighbors. They're even housing baby chicks for a neighbor without power.
"We've been bringing tote bins to friends' houses so they can provide water to the animals but also flush their toilets if needed," said Kellerman.
