A Shelton man was sentenced to two years in prison for stealing from an ice rink he managed.
Prosecutors say Mark Zito set up a shell company to provide false invoices to the Twin Rinks in Stamford, and then collected commissions on those phony invoices.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the scheme resulted in a loss of nearly half a million dollars for the rink.
Zito was ordered to repay the money.
