7h agoThe 100 Girls Leading held its annual All Girls Summit at the McLevy Green in Bridgeport on Saturday.
The event provided mentorship, free activities and networking for young girls.
The event also featured guest speakers and live performances.
The organization also gave away scholarships to girls who are planning to go to college.
"Girls need to see women that are leading in their own careers, in their own backgrounds, in their own jobs, giving back to the community," said 100 Girls Leading founder Bobbi Brown.
Organizers said their goal is to inspire girls to go to college and give back to the community.
