A couple in Milford are no strangers to adversity, showing it is possible to celebrate love from far away after having to reschedule their wedding day for a second time.
Alex Kappel and Lauren Fox say they've been together for 10 years since meeting in college at Western Connecticut State. According to them, it's the second time they've had to reschedule their wedding day.
Today was the day they were supposed to get married in Hamden after their first wedding was canceled because the venue closed unexpectedly.
Instead, the couple celebrated their "would-be" wedding day with a car parade.
The couple will have to wait to tie the knot until early August.
