Enrollment may be up at Norwalk Community College, but state funding is down.
The state budgetary allocation decreased 9.5 percent - the exact percentage NCC's student body increased by.
"There's symmetry, but it's in the wrong direction," says school president David Levinson.
The school hopes the state Legislature turns the decision around. Meanwhile, it's holding a fundraiser Saturday to help with expenses.
