Former Connecticut U.S. Attorney Kevin O'Connor has reportedly been ousted from President-elect Donald Trump's transition team.
Vice President-elect Mike Pence took over the transition team after New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was dropped. Pence has since implemented new rules that ban lobbyists from joining the administration.
O'Connor, a top lawyer for hedge fund mogul Steven Cohen, was reportedly one of the casualties of Christie's removal.
News 12 is told O'Connor's ties to Christie lost him a spot in the new administration.
