The body of a slain former New Haven police officer was found this morning in a Bridgeport driveway. Police say they received a call at around 4 a.m. after someone discovered the body of 42-year-old Kenneth Console outside 86 Bond St. They say the body remained in the driveway until the medical examiner arrived shortly after 10 a.m. It is the city's third official murder of the year.
