Fairfield police are searching for the thieves who stole jewelry from an elderly couple. Police say a man posing as a contractor asked to verify the property line in their back yard on Suzanne Circle.

Fairfield police are searching for the thieves who stole jewelry from an elderly couple.
Police say a man posing as a contractor asked to verify the property line in their back yard on Suzanne Circle.
While they were out back, police say a second man went into their home and stole jewelry from a bedroom.
Police say cities and towns will send their own officials to look into these types of issues, not a contractor.
