Students in Fairfield will be heading back to school Monday after a bomb threat sent the schools into lockdown last week.
All Fairfield public schools were dismissed early on Friday after officials say someone called 911 about a hostage situation on Black Rock Turnpike.
Authorities say shortly after that threat, which turned out to be untrue, someone claimed there were explosives and weapons in three schools.
Police are still investigating to find the source of the threats.
