Fairfield recount in first selectman race set for Tuesday

A recount in Fairfield's first selectman race will go on as planned Tuesday morning.
This comes after a Connecticut State Police investigation following concerns about the integrity of the ballots after someone spotted a damaged window screen at the storage facility where election ballots were kept.
Authorities say there was no criminal activity involved.
The Democrat challenger Bill Gerber received 42 more votes than incumbent Republican Brenda Kupchick.
