As Christmas draws closer, Connecticut residents are doing everything they can to get into the holiday spirit. Many people were busy picking out their Christmas trees at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk this weekend.

Families on the hunt for the perfect tree had lots to choose from at the store today. Many shoppers found their tree quickly, while others preferred to examine each tree before making the important decision.

Shoppers tell News 12 Connecticut that Stew Leonard's will tie the tree onto the shopper's car once their families have picked the right one.
