Family and friends of an Amity High School student gathered Wednesday to mourn the 18-year-old who was killed, along with his friend, in a car crash.

Police say the fatal crash occurred on the Wilbur Cross Parkway Monday night. They say Francesk Zefi, 18, and Salvatore Semmonella, 17, were killed when the car they were driving in veered off the road and hit a tree.

Zefi?s friends and family members gathered at a Bridgeport funeral home to remember the teen they say was the life of the party. Many remember Zefi, who was born in Albania, as a teen who had a big heart and was friends with everyone.

Zefi will be buried in Albania. A wake will be held Friday at Porto Funeral Home in West Haven for Semmonella. A funeral mass will be held Saturday for Semmonella at Holy Infant Church in Orange.

Meanwhile, state police are still investigating the cause of the deadly crash.
