The family of a Stamford teen killed in Bridgeport talked Wednesday about their efforts to raise money to offer a reward for information on his murder.
Shane Slinsky, 18, was shot to death in Bridgeport last month.
Slinsky's family says they hope to help police close the case by offering a reward for tips that lead to an arrest.
A GoFundMe campaign has been created to raise money for that reward.
The teen's family is also selling bracelets that say "Justice For Shane," with all of the proceeds going to the GoFundMe account.
The Slinksky family believes someone out there knows something, and they hope money is motivation enough to speak up.
The family says the money will be be used to create a scholarship in Slinsky's name if no one comes forward with useful information.
