Family of slain man in Bridgeport pleads for help in finding suspect

The family of a homicide victim are still waiting for justice to be served.
Police say Rosali Umanzor, 61, was fatally stabbed by Ricardo Garcia, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador in Bridgeport.
Umanzor was a business owner from Port Chester who owned a restaurant and rental properties in Bridgeport.
Umanzor’s children say their dad was in Port Chester on July 19 when he got a call around 11 p.m. They say he then drove to a house in Bridgeport where the stabbing took place at 3 a.m.
Police say Garcia has been on the run ever since the killing took place.
The victim's children are pleading with Spanish-speaking people in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut because they say Garcia could be seeking shelter with someone in that community.
Bridgeport police ask anyone with information to contact them at 203-576-TIPS.
