A Connecticut family has posted a $10,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in the 2008 murder of Marco Paoletta, which happened one year ago Saturday.
Paoletta?s family is offering the reward to help police find the information they need to locate a person of interest. Police first released a sketch of the suspect in July. The person of interest is a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with long black hair, long side burns and an earring in his left ear. The man was seen entering and leaving the Stamford Jewish Community Center on surveillance video at the same time as Paoletta.
Paoletta, 52, was found on Vine Road in Stamford with a gunshot wound to his head on Jan. 3, 2008. His burned car was found later that day in Norwalk.
Paoletta?s family members say they are convinced someone has information about the murder. Police believe the reward may result in a boost in responses from the public.
