A Bridgeport family is mourning the loss of their son who died in a car crash Friday.
The family describes Jarvis Jones as a loving man with a big heart.
Jones was ejected from the front passenger seat Friday after the driver swerved and struck a tree. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Jones was one of five kids in his close-knit family. His father Chris Jones says there is nothing his son wouldn't do for others.
"I just love, just his smile, just being around him. And that's what everyone is going to miss," Chris Jones said.
His brother, Quentin Jones, was also in the car at the time of the crash. He was able to crawl out of the vehicle. Quentin Jones survived and is home recovering.
Chris Jones says his son's tattoo artist drew an image of his son. The whole family plans to get it tattooed in honor of Jarvis.
The funeral will be on Saturday. The family has created a GoFundMe page to pay for funeral costs.
