Saturday marks 14 years since a Bridgeport girl disappeared from in front of her school.
Bianca Lebron was 10 years old at the time she vanished.
Police say she was outside of Elias Howe School waiting to go in, when someone called to her from a van. Police believe Bianca knew the person and got inside with him.
Investigators stress the case is still open and active with two detectives assigned to it. Captain A.J. Perez says there are also boxes of documents related to the case which they occasionally review.
"Every once in a while we get a tip, we get a lead, and we follow it through. As a matter of fact, we just had one about a month ago, and it always looks so promising and you think, 'This is the one,'" says Perez.
Bianca's father says the anniversary of her disappearance is especially difficult because it's a reminder that they still don't have closure.
