Police say a tractor-trailer struck and killed a pedestrian walking on Interstate 95 in Darien Tuesday afternoon.
Police haven't released much information, but it happened northbound between exits 9 and 10 around 1:30 p.m.
Police initially closed down all three lanes as part of their investigation.
Traffic was backed up into Greenwich while crews worked to clear the scene.
