Barbies and Kens across Fairfield got the chance to walk the pink carpet to a Barbie Jeep Wrangler.

The event was to celebrate the last showing of the "Barbie" movie at the Sacred Heart University Community Theater Thursday.

They partnered with Finale Fundraiser for Pink Pledge to support the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.

The fundraiser included Barbie-themed gift baskets and prizes.

"The response has been incredible. The Barbie movie in itself has so much hype around it, and the fact that it's right here in Fairfield at the community theater and it's been so exciting for young girls and girls that are even older coming to support a really good cause that they know is important to their community and their hometown, but also to celebrate with their friends. It's just an all-around feel-good event," said Meghan McCloat, with the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
