Fire causes Metro-North train evacuation in Fairfield

Metro-North says its schedule is back to normal after smoke caused a train to be evacuated at the Fairfield Metro station. The railroad says smoke was discovered coming from an area between cars.

Metro-North says its schedule is back to normal after smoke caused a train to be evacuated at the Fairfield Metro station.
The railroad says smoke was discovered coming from an area between cars.
The passengers were put on another train.
Metro-North says no one was hurt and the train left Fairfield 24 minutes behind schedule.
