Fire crews rescue 3 people trapped in water

Three people trapped on a rock in a river were rescued Wednesday by emergency crews.
The New Hartford Volunteer Fire Department arrived to help crews in the Pleasant Valley section of Barkhamsted.
The three people were eventually brought to shore and treated by a New Hartford EMS.
Their conditions were not immediately known.
