Brookfield fire officials say two adults and two children were taken to the hospital to be evaluated for smoke inhalation following a fire.
It happened this morning at a day care inside a home on Junction Road.
Two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A portion of Junction Road was closed while firefighters responded to the fire.
