10h agoA tractor trailer driver was hospitalized following a crash on Route 8, fire responders say.
They say the incident happened in Thomaston on Saturday.
Fire responders say when they got to the scene of the crash, the driver of the tractor trailer was pinned inside the truck.
He was pulled out and taken to Waterbury Hospital.
Route 8 was closed near Exit 41 while worked to free the driver.
