A fire ripped through a home in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx at around 1:30 a.m.
What's left of the fire is debris on the sidewalk and the smell of smoke in the air.
Video shows the scene extremely busy. Someone was rolled on a stretcher, and firefighters were seen working to get the fire under control and get everybody out safely.

The Red Cross says that its disaster action team provided cleaning supplies to two households after the fire. Any residents displaced by the fire, who did not connect with the American Red Cross on scene, should call 877-Red Cross (option 1) for assistance.
