The Westport Fire department was called to a car crash on Merritt Parkway late Wednesday afternoon.
Pip was left all alone when both of his owners were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Local firefighters cared for the puppy, giving him the love and comfort he needed.
Pip has since been reunited with his family.
