Two blazes in Bridgeport kept firefighters busy Sunday.
Authorities say one fire broke out in the wall at Willie's Hill Top Market on Pequonnock Street around 9 a.m., shutting down traffic in the area for more than an hour.
They say smoke began filling the store as fire built up beneath the shingles on an outside wall.
Another fire occurred at a house fire on Atlantic Street, forcing the evacuation of a multifamily home shortly after 12 p.m..
They say the fire began on a second-floor porch in the front of the house and was mostly contained to that area, thanks to the quick work of firefighters.
No one was hurt in either fire.
